Flatirons Dermatology is headed by advanced dermatologic surgeon Dr. Christopher Smith, a graduate of the University of Colorado who completed his dermatology residency at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Smith received additional surgical training and was mentored by Drs. Ramsey Mellette and Patrick Lillis, two pioneers of Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction for skin cancers. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Smith has extensive skill in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction, and has performed over 20,000 surgeries. He is a frequent guest lecturer at professional seminars.
In addition to his expertise in treating skin cancers, performing Mohs surgery and traditional clinical dermatology, Dr. Smith does cosmetic procedures, such as Botox®, fillers, laser treatments, fat replacement, eye lid tuck, mini facelift, liposuction and skin rejuvenation.
Megan is a Certified Physician Assistant with experience in Dermatology as well as Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. She has been with Flatirons Dermatology since 2013. Megan sees patients across the age spectrum and is capable of treating a broad range of conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails. She has a particular interest in pediatric dermatology and is passionate about prevention and early detection of skin cancer and patient education.
