Treat your concerns with a professional peel. We can help you learn to love your skin at any age. Our skin cells turn over every 28 days, longer as our skin ages. If we are not aiding in this process, there can be skin cell build up, which can cause your skin to look dull or more dehydrated. Peels with alpha hydroxy acids in them such as lactic acid or glycolic acid or peels with beta hydroxy acid such as salicylic acid, can be used. Other skin brighteners and lighteners such as kojic acid or even vitamin C can be added. These are liquid exfoliants and skin brighteners that we use to aid in cell turnover.  Benefits of peels include, smoothing skin texture and tone, minimizing pores, reducing acne breakouts/ bacteria, minimizing fine lines, fading discoloration, and reducing scars. Chemical peels have varying downtimes, depending on the depth of your peel.
